2015 Taichung Environmental Protection Arts Festival - outdoor art installation
2015台中環保藝術節 戶外藝術裝置
We reused those recycle materials like tire, glass, DVD disc from Taichung city Environmental Protection Bureau, to make the little outdoor park into a happy animal zoo festival. This commission public art project is cooperated with local high school art-gifted students to display in the outdoor park for one year.
Discarded household clutter is used to produce new artistic creations for the animal-themed Taichung Environmental Protection Arts Festival in Bao Jhih Lin(台中環保局-寶之林環保回收公園) discarded furniture recycling center in Taichung.
The theme for this year was “creative animal totem show.” Artists used tires, DVDs, fans and other household items to create thirty different zoological works, making the exhibition space feel as if it were a zoo.
